No Threat On Obi, He’s Just Afraid Of Losing Election—-Umahi
Sen. David Umahi, the Minister of Works has dismissed the death threat claim by Mr Peter Obi , the presidential candidate of Nigeria Democratic Party (NDC).
Umahi said this during an inspection visit to some legacy projects of President Bola Tinubu administration in Ebonyi State at the weekend.
He said nobody wanted Peter Obi and that his statement was borne out of frustration.
He said there was visible development and inclusion of the South East geopolitical region by Tinubu which had become a major threat to Obi’s acclaimed popularity in the region.
“Nobody wants Obi dead, it’s not just reasonable, we all want him alive to contest this election and watch himself lose again.
“He is afraid because our people in the Southeast which was the catchment area in the last election have now seen visible development and agreed that we are better off with Tinubu.
“The President has to complete the good works he is doing for us rather than playing Artificial intelligence (Ai) kind of politics,” he said.
Umahi reiterated his readiness to debate with Peter Obi on the many gains of the present administration and why the Southeast should be grateful for inclusion in national politics.
