ANSSI: Washington Memorial Win Gold In U14 Female Volleyball
Washington memorial grammar school, Onitsha have emerged Champions of the female U14 volleyball event of the ongoing Anambra Sports Solution Initiative (ANSSI) festival.
ANSSI festival is a programme of the Anambra Sports Development Commission organised for primary and secondary schools in the state.
At the final game decided at the Alec Ekwueme Square Volleyball court, the youthful Washington memorial girls defeated their counterparts a Cor Maria Secondary School, Nkpor in two straight sets, 25-7 and 25-10.
Christ Secondary Schools picked the third place in that category of the event
Oma Chioma, the captain of Washington memorial side she and her mates were glad to of the exposure and victory.
Chioma appreciate Gov. Chukwuma Soludo, the organisers and her school authority for creating the opportunity while assuring that they would go back and build on the success.
