Anambra South: Umeoji disowns recycled Campaign Poster, Blames Mischiefs
Chief Chukwuma Umeoji, a former member representing Aguata Federal Constituency in the National Assembly has called on the general public to ignore the ‘’Chukwuma Umeoji for Senate” poster in circulation.
The poster is a purported campaign for Umuoji as a possible replacement for the seat of Anambra South Senatorial District which became vacant following the death of Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah on July 27.
Umeoji described those circulating the poster at a time when the people of the zone were still mourning the death of their son, father and senator as evil minded miscreants.
He said it should be disregarded as It was not from him.
He explained that the material being circulated was a poster he used for his Senatorial campaign in 2023 general elections.
According to him, my attention has been drawn to a poster publication circulating on different social media platforms by unscrupulous individuals with evil intention.
“The sinister motive behind the circulation of this poster is known to me.
“May God reward those behind this according to their works,” he said.
Umuoji prayed God to grant the soul of Ifeanyi Ubah eternal rest and fortitude to his family to bear the irreparable loss.
