Anambra 2025: Okonkwo, Ukachukwu, Ozigbo, Others Cleared To Battle For APC Ticket
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has cleared all seven aspirants who purchased nomination forms for the 2025 Anambra governorship ticket of the party to contest the primary election.
Mr Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of APC made this known in a Statement issued in Abuja on Monday.
Morka said the aspirant had been issued certificates of clearance at the party national secretariat in Abuja.
The cleared aspirants were Prof. Obiora Okonkwo, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, Paul Chukwuma, Chukwuma Umeoji, Valentine Ozigbo, Johnbosco Onunkwo and Edozie Madu
The primary election is scheduled for April 5, 2025.
“The APC Anambra State 2025 gubernatorial
election screening committee has cleared all seven aspirants to contest in the upcoming Anambra governorship
primary election.
“One of the cleared aspirants, Valentine Ozigbo, has been
granted a waiver by the party to contest the primary election.
“All members of the party, including new and old members, in Anambra are required to revalidate their membership as prescribed by the
party, ahead of the scheduled primary election,” it said.
