“We unanimously reaffirm our total and unwavering support for the outcome of the APC primary election which produced Sir Arinzechukwu Awogu, Ph.D. as the duly elected and authentic candidate for the House of Representatives, Ogbaru Federal Constituency.
“Sir Arinzechukwu Awogu. secured a resounding and overwhelming victory with 688 votes, while Mrs. Nkechi Isamade received 41 votes, making the outcome clear, decisive, credible, and beyond dispute.
“We strongly condemn and unequivocally reject the campaign of misinformation, propaganda, and deliberate falsehood being circulated in certain media spaces and social media platforms by individuals seeking to misrepresent the outcome of the primary election.
“Such actions are reckless, misleading, anti-party, and a calculated attempt to undermine the integrity of the party’s democratic processes,” they said.
The stakeholders called on all APC members, supporters, and the good people of Ogbaru Federal Constituency to disregard any publication, statement, or narrative portraying the defeated aspirant as the winner of the primary election.
They said the party was governed by due process, internal democracy, and respect for the will of its members.
“Consequently, any attempt to rewrite the outcome of a freely conducted primary election will be unacceptable and should be rejected by all well meaning party faithful of our great party,” they said.
The stakeholders unanimously called on the people of Ogbaru to close ranks, shun divisive tendencies and remain focused on the bigger objective of achieving victory for Awogu, the APC candidate for the January 2027 elections.
