“Dunga” Picks Expression Of Interest Form For Awka North Chairmanship
Chief Anthony Nchekwube, a Chieftain of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has picked the expression of interest form for Awka North Local Government Council Chairmanship contest.
Nchekwube, a former State Auditor of APGA obtained the form at the Anambra Chapter Secretariat of the party in Awka at the weekend.

‘Dunga’, as he is popularly known, is the National Coordinator of APGA Apostles Forum, the most grassroots based support group within APGA made of vibrant and energetic youths.
“As part of my preparation to serve the good people of Awka North Council as chairman, I visited the APGA State Secretariat to pick up my Expression of Interest form.
“This marks my first formal step toward a free and fair contest,” he said.
Nchekwube thereafter played host to Awka North APGA Ward Chairmen and key stakeholders of the party in Awka where he informed them of his readiness to serve the people with commitment.
He assumed that if elected, every ward will enjoy quality services while appealing to them to support his mission and aspiration for Awka North Council Chairmanship .
According to him, my loyalty, integrity, and transparency will always stand firm.
“My mission is to transform Awka North into a model rural local government where governance works, communities participate, agriculture and agribusinesses grow.
“I humbly seek your support and the opportunity to serve as chairman of Awka North Council.
“I will justify the trust and confidence placed in me as a long-standing and loyal member of APGA.
“I will lead from the grassroots; communities, farms, markets, and schools, my leadership will be practical, visible, and people centered.
