Ekwunife Eulogises Anyaoku On 92nd Birthday
Sen. Uche Ekwunife, the Director General of the Southeast Governors Forum, has congratulated Chief Emeka Anyaoku, GCON, on the occasion of his 92nd birthday.
Anyaokwu, a global citizen and an elder Statesman is a former Secretary General of Commonwealth.

She said Anyaoku’s life had been a shining testament to selfless service, unblemished integrity, and exemplary leadership.
“From his distinguished career as the third Secretary-General of the Commonwealth to his enduring efforts in promoting Nigeria’s image on the global stage, Chief Anyaoku remains a beacon of excellence, inspiring generations across Igboland, Nigeria, and beyond.
“As a proud son of the Southeast, Chief Anyaoku has consistently championed the values of unity, cultural preservation, and progressive leadership in Igboland.
“His advocacy for peace, good governance, and nation-building has earned him reverence not only as a global diplomat but also as an elder statesman whose wisdom is continually sought after in addressing critical issues of national and international importance,” she said.
Ekwunife said Anyaoku stood as an enduring symbol of resilience, excellence, and commitment to the common good, noting that his legacy of diplomacy brought honor to Nigeria on the world stage.
She prayed God to continue to bless him good health, peace, and happiness as he continued to serve as a father figure and a role model for generations.
