Hoodlums Set Anambra Reps Member’s Country Home Ablaze
The country home of Rt Hon. Pascal Agbordike, member representing Ihiala Federal Constituency In Anambra in the National Assembly has been razed.
The incident took place in Agbordike compound in Ubahi Village, Mbosi town in Ihiala Local Government Area at about 1am on Tuesday.
The lawmaker said the palatial duplex was completely burnt and nothing was rescued.
He said he was not sure of who the assonists were and called on the Police and other security agencies to investigate the incident.
“As I am talking with you, I am homeless, my building was completely burnt in the village and nothing was rescued.
“I got a call at about 1 am this morning that my house was under by armed hoodlums, they gained access to the compound and burnt everything down while shooting indiscriminately.
“I lost everything in that house, it has five bedrooms and four living rooms, all my documents are lost in that inferno,” he said.
Agbordike is the immediate past deputy speaker of Anambra House of Assembly.
