Igbo Leader Congratulates IPOB on Kanu’s Release
The spiritual leader of Igbo nation, the Ogilisi Igbo has congratulated the entire members of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) for the release of their leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by the court of Appeal sitting Abuja in a unanimous decision of judges.
Ogilisi Igbo described the decision of the Appeal Court judges to free Kanu from terrorism charges and ordered for his release as a landmark ruling in the history of judiciary in Nigeria and of course a reflection of the fact that the judiciary is the last hope of the oppressed.
He noted that the Appeal Court order which freed Kanu vindicated him had proved that he was neither violent nor a terrorist.
He however, advised the IPOB leader to remain focused on non violent approach while exploring available legal means of self determination as enshrined in both national and international laws.
Ogilisi Igbo also called on the Federal Government to obey the judgment of the Appeal Court and release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
The Igbo leader called for immediate evacuation of all the corpses languishing in various mortuaries across Igboland so as to free all the souls trapped in the mortuaries.
He said the souls trapped in mortuaries were possessing the youth and using them as zombies, hoodlums,cultists, restiveness, drug addicts and miscreants that are involved in violent crime such as armed robbery, kidnapping and killings.
Ogilisi Igbo posited that immediate evacuation of corpses in mortuaries will fortify and nourish Igboland into a peaceful environment and prosperous era as was before mortuary businesses.
According to him, God, nature and culture demand that a dead body should be buried immediately after death so that the departed soul will be at rest.
“But if you fail to bury the dead and trap the body in mogues, the soul will continue to cause trouble for the living and that is why we are facing troubles in Igboland because we have a lot of souls trapped in various mortuaries.
He went further to explain that an unburied body’s soul cannot transcend into pure spiritual realms without discarding the body into 6ft through sand or dust pointing out that ghosts and zombies of corpses generates such fear among members of the general public.
He called on the government community leaders mostly the traditional rulers, town unions and Church leaders to see reason to follow what God, nature and demand and arrange for evacuation of corpses in mortuaries across Igboland.
