IPMAN Rejoices With Ezeokafor, Oil Mogul Over Safe Return From Abductors’ Captivity
The Leadership and members of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) have expressed gratitude to God for the return of their Grand Patron, Chief Joseph Ezeokafor, Managing Director of Jezco Oil Group from kidnappers’ den.
The delegation which visited the oil mogul to rejoice with him included Mr Chinedu Anyaso, Chairman IPMAN Enugu Depot Community, Chief Linus Mgbakogu and Chief Ndubuisi Egbobota, the Assistant Secretary of the Unit.
Recall that Ezeokafor was kidnapped at a prayer ground in Ifite, Awka South Local Government Area on Aug. 4 but regained freedom on Aug. 15 after spending 12 days in captivity.
He, alongside another abductee, was picked up by family members in Ebenebe, a border community with Enugu state as confirmed by Anambra Police Command.
The team which described the incident as unfortunate prayed that such an incident should not happen to him or any other person.
They urged government and security agencies to strengthen the security environment and ensure the safety of citizens anywhere within Anambra.
“Today, we paid a welcome-back visit to Our Grand Patron High Chief, Sir J.J Ezeokafor, Chairman Jezco Group and conveyed our joy.
“We had thanksgiving prayers to the Almighty God for bringing him back safely from the wicked hands of daredevil kidnappers.
“We pray that God in his infinite mercy and goodness will continue to bless, guide and protect him and his entire family, just as we pray for the safety of allcitizens,” he said.
