IYD 2026: Nwosu Urges Youths To Keep Dreams Alive
Mr John Nwosu, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has extended felicitations on Nigerian youths on the occasion of 2026 World Youth Day(IYD).
Nwosu who was candidate of ADC in 2025 Anambra governorship election in his goodwill message on Wednesday said the energy, creativity, courage and determination of the youth remained some of Nigeria’s greatest assets.
He said youth were not merely the leaders of tomorrow but innovators, entrepreneurs, professionals and change-makers of today.
He encouraged them to believe in the possibilities that lay ahead urging them to develop their skills, embrace technology, pursue entrepreneurship and remain committed to excellence.
“Do not allow the challenges confronting our nation to extinguish your dreams.
“ I urge you to continue to uphold the values of hard work, enterprise, integrity and community service for which our people are renowned.
“Anambra and Nigeria need your ideas, your talents and your active participation in building a better future.
“My dear young people, your dreams are valid, your voices matter, and your future is worth fighting for,” he said.
Nwosu, a Tech expert, called on government, political leaders, the private sector and all stakeholders to create an environment where young people would learn, work, innovate, access opportunities and prosper.
He said empowering the youth was not charity but an investment in the future of our communities, state and country.
He called on leaders to build a Nigeria where talent was rewarded, innovation encouraged, education accessible and every young person had a genuine opportunity to succeed.
“On this International Youth Day, I celebrate you and wish you greater opportunities, renewed hope and remarkable success
“Happy International Youth Day to the youth of Anambra State and Nigeria,” he said.
