NYSC Winds Down Orientation Activities For 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I In Anambra
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has concluded the three week orientation course for corps members in the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I in Anambra State.
Mrs Pauline Ojisua, the Coordinator of the NYSC in Anambra declared the programme closed at the
at the Permanent Orientation Camp, Umuawulu/Mbaukwu, Awka South Local Government Area on Tuesday.
Ojisua, who expressed gratitude to God for the successful completion of the Orientation Course, commended the corps members for their discipline, patriotism, enthusiasm and cooperation.
She said their positive conduct contributed significantly to the overall success of the programme.
The Coordinator urged the Corps Members to uphold the core values of the scheme as they went to their various Places of Primary Assignment while urging them to
remain law-abiding, disciplined and security-conscious throughout their service year.
She encouraged them to take full advantage of the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development programme by acquiring practical entrepreneurial skills that would promote self-reliance beyond the service year.
“Participate actively in community development service, initiate impactful community projects and distinguish yourselves through diligence, innovation and exemplary conduct at their places of primary assignment,” she said.
Ojisua extended the appreciation of the Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Oluseye Nafiu, to the Government and people of Anambra State for their support to the Scheme as well as the traditional rulers and residents of Umuawulu and Mbaukwu communities for their hospitality.
She equally commended camp officials, collaborating agencies, security personnel, healthcare providers, resource persons, volunteers, the media and other stakeholders whose dedication ensured the successful conduct of the Orientation Course.
