2027 Poll: Billionaire Philanthropy Club Backs Onunkwo For Anambra South Senate
Chief Ebuka Onunkwo, candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has reiterated his promise to deliver effective representation to the people of Anambra South Senatorial District.
Onunkwo said this when he received the Imperial Philanthropic Club, a group of billionaires from Southeast States who endorsed his ambition in his Ihembosi country home, Ekwusigo Local Government Area on Saturday.
He assured the people of the district that he would fulfill all the promises that he said during the campaign .
The Industrialist said the good people of Anambra South across all political parties were the source of his inspiration and strength as they had waited for this moment to reward him for his good disposition to them over the years with their votes.
Onunkwo who is the Chairman of Imperial Commanders Council, highest in the Club said the group’s mission of giving education to the indigent and uplifting the poor aligned with his values and vision for his people.
He appreciated the group for identifying and pledging to support his candidacy and expressed confidence that victory would be achieved.
“I assured my people that I will be on the ballot and they are all happy that we have come this far because they have been waiting to reward me with their votes.
“I assure them that I will do all that I promised that, I have done a lot as an individual, I will definitely do more as the Senator representing them in the National Assembly.
‘I am highly encouraged by the support of members of the Imperial Philanthropy family, these are people with passion to help, they have been building schools and awarding scholarships.
“Today, no fewer than 1,252 students across the five states of South East are benefitting their scheme. They have come to show solidarity with me, I am grateful,” he said.
