Amichi Community Youths Endorse Egwuonwu for South Senatorial Rerun
Amichi Youth Social Club has endorsed the aspiration of Chief Akai Egwuonwu to occupy the vacant seat of Anambra South Senatorial District seat in the National Assembly.
The 40- year old social club made of youths from Amichi Community in Nnewi South Local Government Area endorsed Egwuonwu when they paid him a solidarity visit in his Amichi home on Sunday.
Speaking at the event, Chief Felix Okonkwo, president of the group who spoke on behalf of members
extolled Akai’s industrial prowess which he started in his early years.
Okonkwo said Akai had a burning desire to serve the people of Anambra South and they were giving him full support.
“Akai is suitable. We are saying that he will go”, Okonkwo said.
Many prominent members of the group were present including a Board of Trustees member of APGA, and former Commissioner for Information in Anambra State, Chief Maja Umeh.
