SP Ikenga, Anambra PPRO Bags NIPR Life Reputation Award
The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has conferred the honour of Life Reputation Award on SP Tochukwu Ikenga, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Anambra Command.
The Anambra Chapter of the Institute gave the recognition to Ikenga and other deserving persons at its 2026 Summit and General Meeting held at the International Convention Centre, Awka on March 13.
The PPRO was recognised for his outstanding contributions to public communication, professional excellence, and reputation management in public service.
NIPR said the awardee had through strategic communication in effective information management, proactive engagement with the media, initiatives in enhancing public trust and improving police community relations.
“The Life Reputation Award is one of the recognitions conferred by the NIPR to honour individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to professionalism, integrity, and excellence in reputation management and public communication,” it said.
The Summit and General Meeting also served as a platform to celebrate individuals and institutions that have distinguished themselves in promoting ethical communication, positive reputation, and impactful leadership in their respective fields.
The ceremony ended with goodwill messages from dignitaries who commended the award recipients for their contributions to the development of the society.
The recipients were also urged to continue to uphold the values of professionalism, integrity, and service to humanity.
Some guests at the event were Gov. Chukwuma Soludo, Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe, the Obi of Onitsha, Chief Cletus Ibeto, a renowned industrialist, Chief Osita Chidoka, a former Minister of Aviation and others.
