Group Hails Obi/Kwankwaso Ticket As Lifeline For Nigerians
A political group, Equity Equity Movement,Turn By Turn has congratulated Nigerians on the Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso Ticket that is set to emerge from the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC).
Chief Gaius Ezeh, the National Chairman of Equity Movement,Turn By Turn said on Tuesday that the ticket was a prayer answered for Nigerians.
The group said at a time when the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) had mismanaged the economy and almost denied citizens the chance of alternative, God gave Nigerians a lifeline through the NDC.
It said Nigeria had taken a downturn since 2023 but as 2027 drew closer, Nigerians had the opportunity to take back whatever remained and rebuild it from the ruins.
“The Government presently in power in every aspect of leadership has confirmed the fears of Nigerians that made them not vote APC.
“We are ready for the job of recovering Nigeria from the hands of Hijackers but for a long time now it appeared mission impossible, the government in power knows they have failed woefully.
“They know they have plunged Nigeria into misery and Nigerians are angry, so because they still wish to hold on to power, the only way is to make sure no serious opposition group stands.
“As the closing date for submissions approached, Nigerians had almost lost hope before Obi/Kwankwaso emerged in NDC, we therefore congratulate the NDC as the ‘miracle child’ of Nigeria,” he said.
Ezeh with the Obi/Kwankwaso in the pipeline, Nigerians could now see the green light at the end of the tunnel.
The group called on all Nigerians irrespective of tribe, class, religion to ensure they registered and got their voter cards ready.
He regretted that Atiku Abubakar missed the opportunity of writing his name in gold by ignoring the repeated appeal for him to support Peter Obi in the struggle to rescue Nigeria.
“Every true Nigerian should register without delay and be a card carrying member of the NDC.
“It is our strong belief that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar can still support Obi/Kwankwaso in the interest of Nigeria and Nigerians.
“He should not make Nigerians confirm the insinuations making the rounds all the while that he has been working for Tinubu,” he said.
