Osegbo, New Anambra APC Chairman Assumes Office
Chief Ifeanyi Osegbo, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Anambra Chapter has assumed office.
Osegbo was welcomed by a mammoth crowd of APC faithful at the party office in Awka on Sunday.
Osegbo takes over from Sen. Emma Anosike who was sacked by an Abuja High Court in June.
Anosike before his sack was embroiled in several controversies including high handedness, lack of respect for rule of law, financial impropriety and overthrow of a legally constituted committee in Ogbaru Local Government Area Chapter.
Osegbo assumption therefore opened a new chapter life of APC in Anambra and positions the party for more prosperous electoral outcomes in the State.
The excited crowd cheered him with chants of solidarity songs that suggested that APC in Anambra now had a breath of fresh air and a new beginning.
In a short remark, Osegbo assured that he would unify the party members and work with all stakeholders to ensure victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates in the January elections..
