Nwosu Submits Nomination Form Ahead Of Anambra Guber
Mr John Nwosu, an aspirant for the Nov. 8 governorship election in Anambra has submitted his Expression of Interest and Nomination forms to the National Secretariat of the Labour Party.
Nwosu, a leading contender for the LP ticket submitted the forms in Abuja on Wednesday.
Mr Oseloka Obaze, Chairman of the John Chuma Nwosu’s Campaign Organisation expressed confidence in their candidate was the best Aspirant for the job.
Obaze said, we have consulted widely and decided to present the most capable gubernatorial aspirant of the Labour Party in Anambra State.
“We are here today to submit the nomination forms of a candidate whose vision, competence and transformative abilitied are unmatched.
“Above all, John Nwosu is an adroit party man, who is well known to the party leaders and at the grassroots.
Addressing the gathering, Nwosu expressed gratitude and reaffirmed his dedication to the party’s success in Anambra.
He said the day marked a significant milestone in his life, my family’s journey, and the future of Anambra State under the Labour Party.
According to him, we have gathered to celebrate and officially submit our expression of interest and nomination forms.
“I deeply appreciate the tireless efforts of the National Working Committee in ensuring a smooth and transparent process”.
“Our party successfully conducted a peaceful congress in Anambra state without legal disputes, and I pray that the upcoming primaries reflect the same orderliness,” he said.
Nwosu said there 21 active Labour Party offices across the state, noting that it was testament to its grassroots strength.
“If given the mandate as the party’s candidate, we will secure an overwhelming victory for the Labour Party in Anambra,” he said.
On his part, Mr Julius Abure, the National Chairman of Labour Party commended Nwosu for his commitment and reassured all aspirants of a transparent nomination process and coming to submit his nomination forms.
Abure said he believed that the transformation of Nigeria will begin with Anambra while reaffirming that the forthcoming gubernatorial primaries will be free, fair, and credible.
“The Labour Party upholds internal democracy, and no candidate has been anointed or will be imposed on the party.
“We remain Nigeria’s foremost opposition party, and we are not in alliance with any other political group, be it APGA or APC.
“I would also like to recognise the unwavering support of dedicated party members like Oseloka H. Obaze and Mr Ben-Chuks Nwosu, who have consistently stood by the Labour Party.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from the National Secretary of the Labour Party, expressing appreciation for the continuous support of party members.
