Benjamin, SWAN President Loses Nonagenarian Father
Pa Isaiah Boyi Israel, father of Isiah Benjamin, the President of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Isaiah Kemje Benjamin, has passed on at the ripe age of 92 years.
Pa Israel died in Bassa Local Government Area of Kogi State on Sept. 25.
The SWAN President announced the passage of his father n a Statement signed by Jacob Onjewu, his media Aide on Monday.
SWAN President who is currently on national assignment to the National Youth Games (NYG) in Asaba, Delta State, said his remains had been deposited at the mortuary.
He said the burial arrangements will be announced in due course.
Some leaders and members of the body of sports writers had visited the president to condole with him.
Pa ISAIAH passed on at the age of 92 in Lando Bassa local government of Kogi State.
He is survived by his wife, seven children, brothers, sisters, grandchildren and great grandchild.
