Anxiety As Marketers Alerts Of Partial Shutdown In Anambra
Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has issued a notice of partial shutdown in Anambra State on Wednesday, April 23.
A noticed obtained by newsmen states that the shutdown would span between 6am to 2pm on the scheduled date.
The body urged residents to make adequate preparations and avoid being caught unawares.
According to the notice, “for those of us resident in Anambra State, this is to pre-inform us that all filling stations in the State will be closed on Wednesday the 24th of April from 6am to around 2pm.
“For your planned mobility on that day, please make all necessary plan to buy fuel ahead of that time,” it stated.
A source disclosed that the period would enable marketers hold crucial meeting during which they would take critical decisions on their relations with Anambra government and how it affects their business.
